A SCOUT troop enjoyed tomahawks and treks as part of a special camping trip over Easter.
The Scouts from the 1st Silver End Scout Troop enjoyed a five-day spring camp to Norfolk at the beginning of the Easter holidays.
The 15 girls and eight boys travelled with their leaders to a campsite just outside of Norwich for an action-packed adventure.
During the camp, they took park in numerous activities.
These included tomahawk throwing, challenging themselves on an obstacle course, going on a kayak trek down the River Yare and traversing high up in the trees at Go-Ape.
The Scouts also took to the slopes in giant inflatable rings at the Norfolk Ski Centre, spent evenings out bowling and at a trampoline park, a morning in the forest paintballing and a day out at Pleasurewood Hills.
Back at the campsite they also took part in team building challenges and games, and on the last night enjoyed a non-alcoholic cocktail party and movie night.
One Scout who took part said: “It was great fun being away with all my friends, making new friends and getting the opportunity to experience new activities I had never tried before.”
The Scouts' next big camp is a week away in the summer to the Netherlands where they will be staying in Noordwijk on the Dutch coast.
