An 'Oscars'-themed evening, filled with flashing lights and glitz, celebrated successful Scouts in Witham.
Silver End Scout HQ was turned into an awards ceremony venue for a red carpet gala to celebrate success.

Awards were presented by councillors James Abbot and Bob Wright, and Witham MP Priti Patel.
Excited Scouts left their uniforms at home and dressed up in their best party outfits to see who would win awards such as Best New Scout, Hardest Working Scout and Most Improved Scout.
