PLANS for a new dog grooming parlour have been submitted to a council.
The site in Hillcroft, on West End Road in Tiptree, is currently used as a private gym.
A planning application has been submitted to Colchester Council for the change of use of an outbuilding from a gym to a dog grooming parlour.
The single-storey building is in the back garden of a house.
No changes are planned for the appearance of the building and there will be no new or altered vehicle access needed.
There are currently four outbuildings at the property.
Attached to the existing gym is a storage barn and there is a separate garage on site.
The application says the property has plenty of space for parking and there are no plans for new or altered vehicle or pedestrian access to the site.
Colchester Council will have the final say on the plans.
