A TRIO of tribute acts are coming to Witham Public Hall to kick off the first month of 2023.

First up is Soul Train who are steaming into Witham with a feast of soulful gems.

Harking back to the days when the dance floor was king, performers will deliver a host of 60s and 70s soul classics.

From the early soul days of Tamla Motown, Stax and Atlantic records though to disco and beyond, the show promises to bring back the good times.

Featured in a feel-good production are classic hit songs by Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Lionel Richie and many more great performers.

The event is on Friday, January 6, with doors opening at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

That is followed by tributes to two megastars of the music industry.

GM Live – a Tribute to George Michael - hits the stage on January 22.

This ultimate homage features a full live band and is described as a heartfelt and authentic tribute which takes audiences on a musical journey through the late pop legend's greatest hits and high-energy Wham! tracks.

The show is based on George's 25 Live tour of 2006–2007, which grossed over $200million.

Audiences are treated to stunning musical arrangements and exciting versions of songs such as Fastlove, Faith, Careless Whisper, Outside and Freedom.

Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

Rounding off the month is the Elvis Legacy.

Mark Summers’ Elvis Legacy is the UK's official number one Elvis tribute show and winner of the National Tribute Awards.

One of the world's top selling international Elvis tributes, Mark has played around the world, from London’s West End to Memphis, USA, appearing with many of Elvis’s original band members, movie co-stars, close friends and some of the Presley family.

The new show is billed as "young and fresh, high energy and fun-packed" with all of the King of Rock and Roll's greatest hits.
