A MOTHER and daughter business duo are going to be raising money for a mental health charity in memory of a family friend.

Ellie and Tamsin Moran, from Black Notley, run their small business Store Vegan together, regularly taking part in markets across the district.

Ellie said: “I started it in June last year, as many did I looked for other business ventures during Covid, and my mum wanted to join in and help me too, which is nice.

“It is going well, we started doing the Braintree street market on Saturdays, but have also started doing some on Wednesdays.

“We can see people love supporting businesses like ours, and it is really nice running it as a family.”

The pair are now set to support a mental health charity following the death of a family friend.

Ellie said: “I won’t go into too much details, but their death made us decide to give ten per cent of our monthly profits to MANUP?, a charity supporting men’s mental health.

“They are also based in Ipswich so fairly close, and they have reached out and are very excited and grateful we are helping.

“At the end of every month, I’ll calculate how much to give them, and post it online how much we have made to keep people updated before transferring it to them.

“We are also going to have posters at our stalls to let people know we are helping and will post the link for anyone who wants to donate directly."
