TWO new food hygiene ratings have been handed to pubs according to the Food Standards Agency’s website.
The Green Man, in Church Lane, Toppesfield, was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 2.
As well as this, The Eight Bells PH in Colchester Road in Bures was also given a score of five on October 25.
It means that of Braintree's 134 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 93, 69 per cent, have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
