A MOTORCYCLIST was left with multiple broken bones following a collision on a country road.
Police officers are hunting the driver of a vehicle involved in the incident who fled the scene in Pods Lane, Rayne.
Essex Police are now investigating the incident on the route which links Rayne to Great Saling.
It is reported a motorbike and a car, which has been described as a silver hatchback, collided shortly before 11am on September 11.
The rider of the motorbike suffered a broken collarbone and broken ribs as a result of the incident.
“The car failed to stop at the scene and we’re trying to trace it,” said an Essex Police spokesman.
“If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.”
