TWO lanes of the A12 have been closed as recovery work takes place after a collision.
Police were called to the Colchester-bound carriageway between Boreham and Hatfield Peverel shortly after 1pm today, Monday September 5 to reports of a collision involving two lorries and a car.
A12 Northbound - Two lanes CLOSED just after J19 (Boreham/A138) following an accident involving two lorries and two cars. Traffic is slow moving.

A spokesman said: "Thankfully, none of the occupants have reported serious injury.
"Two of the three lanes have been closed while recovery takes place.
"Thank you for your patience."
Traffic is queueing for about six miles, causing 40 minutes of delays.
