A WOMAN from Halstead has been charged with multiple assault offences.
It comes following an alleged incident last night, August 6, where she was arrested for malicious communications, two common assaults, two ABH assaults, and assault on an emergency worker.
Officers received a call to Halstead shortly before midnight to reports of fight where two people had been punched and spat at, with one possibly suffering a broken nose.

Upon police arrival, the female suspect also allegedly assaulted one police officer and then tried to spit at and bite them.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "The woman was interviewed this morning and has been charged for multiple assaults which occurred last night as well as assaulting an emergency worker."
She will appear in court later this month.
