DINOSAURS will be on display as part of a new museum exhibition.
Visitors will be able to get up close to a T-rex, protoceratops and baby stegosaurus, as well as seeing real dinosaur eggs and fossils at Braintree Museum’s new exhibition.
Dinosaurs: From Eggs to Extinction is an exhibition with lots of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy.
The exhibition will examine the life-cycle of different dinosaurs, from the terrifying tyrannosaurus rex to supersized sauropods, with dinosaur models, eggs and fossils on loan from Bespoke Scientific.
Visitors can discover how different dinosaurs lived, cared for their young and grew into adults.
They will also be able to find out more about dinosaur scientists and paleontologists, as well as becoming paleontologists themselves by uncovering hidden dinosaur skeletons.
The exhibition opens on July 26 with the museum’s big dino day, where there will be dinosaur crafts, trails and the exhibition.
The museum will also be featuring an animatronic tyrannosaurus rex and baby raptor from 10.30am to 3pm.
The exhibition runs from July 23 to October 29, and is open Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.
