THIS adorable brace of bunnies’ noses are twitching at the prospect of finding a new home.

Romeo and Juliet were rescued by Danaher Animal Shelter on February 4 and are now looking for a home together.

The lop-eared black rabbits are currently at the charity’s shelter in Wethersfield and have a strong bond with each other.

They constantly lay together and enjoy having meals together, where they share vegetables with one another.

They are very confident with people, and are relaxed when being held, so the shelter says they can go to a family home with children aged eight and upwards, or with slightly younger children who are confident with small animals.

A Danaher spokesman said: “Romeo and Juliet, as their names suggest, are a couple very much in love and have a truly strong bond.

“They’re constantly laying together and they love having meals together where they’re eating from the same bit of vegetable with their mouths meeting in the middle as they get down to the last little bit – any excuse for a cheeky little kiss.

“They’re looking for their forever home where they can continue their venture and make many years of happy memories together.

“If you feel you could offer them their happy ever after please submit an interest form for them and we could well invite you in to come and meet this special pair in person.”

Romeo and Juliet are currently under assessment so anyone interested in giving them a home should fill out an application form at danaheranimalhome.org.uk.
