A mum of three has been jailed for life after stabbing her own boyfriend at a New Years Eve Party.

Hannah Sindrey, 23, of Worcester Drive, Rayleigh, was found guilty by jury at Basildon Crown Court yesterday morning.

She has been jailed for a minimum of 14 years and six months.

Paul Fletcher, 31, was stabbed at a flat in Worcester Drive in the early hours of January 1 last year.

Judge Samantha Leigh told her she had “had enough” of what she perceived was going on and lost her temper.

The court also heard Mr Fletcher had hit Sindrey on a number of times previously.

Her co-defendant 25-year-old Kelly Blackwell of Retort Close, Southend was found not guilty of murder.

On Thursday Sindrey was screaming and swearing about the man as she was taken down.
