CONSTRUCTION work on a new multi-million pound care home is set to start at the end of the month.
The Avery Healthcare Group says it expects to see the new 75-bed care home in Bocking completed in 2023.
A contract has been awarded to Colchester-based Horizon Construction to build the new £8.4million care home.
It will be the healthcare group’s first facility built in Essex with construction scheduled to begin at the end of January.
The project involves the construction of a modern 75-bed facility on Church Lane.
Horizon Construction managing director Phil Holding said: “Naturally, we are absolutely thrilled to have Avery as a new client.
“As a leader in its sector, we are proud to be entrusted with their latest project in north Essex.”
Adrian Doyle, Director of Developments at Avery Healthcare, added: “We are delighted to be working with Horizon for our latest project – their reputation and expertise are the ideal solutions for us.
“We are looking forward to commencing works as soon as possible.”
