POLICE have said there is likely to be delays after they were forced to close part of a busy road due to a collision.
Essex Police says it has closed a lane of the A120 between Marks Farm and Galleys Corner in Braintree.
The closer has been required due to a collision but officers have said they hope to open the road shortly.
No one is believed to be injured however, officers say traffic is likely to be bad.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We currently have a lane closure on the A120 between Marks Farm and Galleys Corner Braintree, Essex due to a collision.
"Everyone is safe and we hope to have the lane open again shortly. Unfortunately there is quite a bit of traffic building up."
The lane impacted by the closure is understood to be heading southbound.
