Courts across Essex deal with dozens of cases of speeding every single week.

All the people below were fined and handed points or bands for breaking the 40mph limit of the A127 Southend Arterial Road.

They were caught speeding either in Laindon or Southend.

Rodney Brew, 31, of Garron Lane, South Ockendon, was caught travelling at 48mph on April 17. At Basildon Magistrates’ Court he was fined £220, handed three penalty points and ordered to pay £34 victim services fund and £90 costs.

Caitlin McNeela, 25, of Bar Hill, Cambridge, was caught travelling at 60mph on April 17. At Basildon Magistrates’ Court she was fined £184, handed four penalty points and ordered to pay £34 victim services fund and £90 costs.

Carlos Lartey, 26, of Northview Avenue, Tilbury, was caught travelling at 58mph on April 17. At Basildon Magistrates’ Court he was fined £440, handed four penalty points and ordered to pay £44 victim services fund and £90 costs.

Shelley Galvin, 37, of Camlan Road, Bromley, was caught travelling at 51mph on April 12. At Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court he was fined £130, handed three penalty points and ordered to pay £34 victim services fund and £90 costs.

Joseph Corcoran, 60, of Albany Road, Pilgrims Hatch, was caught travelling at 49mph on April 17. At Basildon Magistrates’ Court he was fined £146, handed three penalty points and ordered to pay £34 victim services fund and £90 costs.

Paulo Ramos Correia, 31, of Bramford Road, Ipswich, was caught travelling at 48mph on April 16. At Basildon Magistrates’ Court he was fined £220, handed three penalty points and ordered to pay £34 victim services fund and £90 costs.

Christopher Mackey, 60, of Marks Court, Southend, was caught travelling at 48mph on April 10. At Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court he was handed three penalty points and fined £66. He must also pay a £34 victim services fund.

Andrea Baciu, 25, of High Road, Romford, was caught travelling at 49mph on April 14. At Basildon Magistrates’ Court she was handed three penalty points and fined £220. She must also pay a £34 victim services fund and £90 costs.
