A TRIO of tributes to some of the hottest groups ever hit the stage at Witham Public Hall over next three nights.

The resurgence of interest in Abba since their recent reunion means Friday evening's Thank You For the Music show is sold out.

If you missed out on tickets and still want a weekend music fix there is still a chance to see Bootleg Blondie on Saturday or Simon and Garfunkel tribute Sounds of Simon on Sunday.

Bootleg Blondie are hailed as the world's number one Blondie tribute band and are endorsed by Debbie Harry herself.

Bootleg singer Debbie Harris is a dead ringer of the real thing and starred on TV's ‘Even Better Than The Real Thing’, hosted by Paddy McGuinness.

They are the only Blondie tribute to play the legendary CBGB club where the originals cut their teeth in New York, and even toured the UK in 2019 with legendary Blondie drummer and good friend Clem Burke to celebrate the 40th anniversary of iconic album Parallel Lines.

Audiences looking for something a little less high octane can catch Sounds of Simon on Sunday.

Ben Bowden and Adam Ellis and their band lovingly recreate the unique sound of Simon and Garfunkel.

They are billed as one of the best international tribute acts currently touring the UK, with a show that takes in the full range of the duo’s career together, as well as drawing extensively from Paul Simon’s solo career.

Bootleg Blondie are on stage at 8pm on Saturday and tickets cost £16.50.

Sounds of Simon is at 7.30pm on Sunday and tickets are £16.

Tickets are available on 0345 017 8717 and from the visitor information centre at Witham Town Hall.
