Bonfire Night is almost upon us, and there are are number of fireworks displays across Essex planned for the weekend.
If you're in Braintree then the Braintree Rugby Club Grand Fireworks Display might be the one to attend.
You don't even have to worry about booking a ticket for this event like you might have to for a few other displays, as entry is bought at the gate.
Entry is cash-only, with adults and children over 12 having to pay £6 and children under 12 having to pay £4.
Gates open at 5.30pm on Friday November 5, with the bonfire being lit at 7.45pm before the fireworks spectacular begins just shortly afterwards at 8pm.
However, if you get there in plenty of time before the fireworks you won't be short of things to do.
A music roadshow and fairground rides will be available to see and go on, plus there is a bar and barbecue on hand for refreshment.
Sweet cones are also available to purchase, and if you want to get more in the spirit of the occasion then light-up toys can be bought.
