ESSEX Police are spearheading a 12-hour Halloween dispersal zone over fears of youths causing trouble.

The dispersal order was been put in place in Frinton following concerns about groups of young people causing anti-social behaviour (ASB).

It's in place from 7pm today until 7am tomorrow.

It allows officers to direct people suspected of causing antisocial behaviour away from the area, Essex Police said.

It is in place from 7pm tonight until 7am tomorrow (Monday 1 November) and follows another dispersal order which had been in place from 48 hours from Friday night but has now expired.
