A MAN has been left with a serious injury after he was attacked in Colchester town centre.
Police were called to reports a man, in his 30s, had been attacked by two people in St Isaac's Walk late at night.
The victim was said to have suffered a head injury during the attack, a force spokesman said.
He added: “We are looking to trace anyone who saw the incident or helped provide the victim first aid.
“If you have any dash cam or mobile phone footage please do not share on social media but contact us with it instead.
“We are following a number of lines of enquiry and the investigation is continuing.”
The incident happened between 10pm and 10.20pm on Saturday, October 9.
