HEALTHCARE workers have been recognised for their work throughout the pandemic.
Nurses in Braintree, Witham and Halstead have been given 500 pairs of insoles from foot health company Enertor.
Senior clinical services manager at Provide Nicola Griffiths said the donation will make a huge difference to nurses.
She added: “I would like to thank Enertor for the very generous gifts of the insoles to the district nurses and other disciplines.
“From start to finish, the support, meeting the team today and understanding more about the insoles and just how they can help our nurses has just been wonderful.”

The donation was part of a campaign launched by Enertor to say thanks to health care workers.
Chief exec Nick Beresford said: “We want to recognise the many extraordinary people across the country that have and are still spending a huge amount of time on their feet as key workers, volunteering, delivering, cleaning, caring and many other roles through the pandemic.”
