A NEW cafe has opened in the heart of a village.
Café Bijou coffee shop was formally opened by Priti Patel in Market Square at a special ribbon cutting ceremony.
The Café, which offers hot and iced coffees, smoothies, bacon sandwiches, hot and cold lunches as well as a selection of cakes and snacks, provides for customers who want to eat in or takeaway and they deliver orders within a five mile radius.
Owner Paul Long, who developed the cafe with his wife Lucie said: "“It was a great pleasure to meet Priti and I enjoyed talking to her about how Lucie and I developed our Cafe and our hopes for the future.
"We are grateful that she was able to take time out of her busy schedule to give our business her support and to formally declare us open.”
