Just over 600 Covid cases were recorded across the Braintree district in the latest seven day period, with the district's average infection rate rising further.
In the seven days to July 15, there were 644 coronavirus cases recorded across the borough.
The average infection rate during this week was 408.2 cases per 100,000 people.

Central Braintree has the highest infection rate, with it now being above 623 cases per 100,000 people, and has also recorded the most cases with 59.
Witham Town is now second, with a rate of 489.2 cases per 100,000 people, and 55 cases.
