FOOTBALL fans aired their frustration by smashing a butchers window after England were beaten in the Euro 2020 final.
Supporters were left devastated when England lost to Italy 3-2 on penalties after the game finished 1-1 after extra time.
While the majority of people behaved responsibly, there were some who spilled out into the town centre to vent their frustration, with someone even smashing the window at Beaumont's Butchers on Bank Street.
Residents quickly took to Facebook to blame the towns pubs and bars.

But Adam Gibbons from the butchers said: "All I'm seeing on the hub is blame for pubs with regard to our window.
"The hospitality sector has been through more during Covid than many other businesses and if we want them to survive they need to be taking advantage of moments like last night.
"They operate within strict licensing laws, they are not to blame.
"This was caused by adults who think just because they have had a drink the law doesn't apply to them.
"Lay the blame at their feet not the publicans who are just trying to make an honest living."
He also thanked well-wishers for their support, adding: "We just want to say a huge thank you for the outpouring of support today. It means the world to us and we are genuinely touched.
"There are so many people to thank. We hope that you all know who you are.
"Thank you from the bottom of our hearts."
