Drivers could face delays over the next few weeks as several roadworks take place across the town centre.
Here is a breakdown of all the roadworks:
London Road, Great Notley
Roadworks began yesterday (July 5) on London Road outside the Kind Edward VI pub.
Temporary two-way traffic signals are currently in place as work is carried out on the verge, footway and carriageway.
Work is due for completion on July 14.
Further up the road, near Marshalls Park, is another set of traffic controls, due for completion on July 11.
Rayne Road
For today only, traffic controls are in place outside Blandford Surgery.
It is not clear what the works are for.
Work is being undertaken by a third party, just past Nayling Road, traffic controls will be in place until tomorrow (July 7).
Lakes Road
Two-way traffic signals are in place on Lakes Road until July 15 outside Royal Mail.
Temporary traffic lights are also in place in:
- Chapel Hill
- Cressing Road
- Milton Avenue
- East Street
