A POPULAR fast-food outlet is offering 120 hours of free football sessions.
McDonald's Witham is hosting four fun-filled days at new Rickstones Academy for children aged five to 11 to get them active again after lockdown.
Sessions are also on offer at Great Dunmow Leisure Centre.
In partnership with Football Associations across the UK, McDonald's and franchises are providing hundreds of free sessions, all delivered by a team of fully qualified coaches in over 600 locations.
A spokesperson from McDonald's said: “I am so excited that we are helping children to get outside and play football with friends after such a challenging year.
“It’s so important that children take this opportunity to keep active which will benefit both their physical and mental health, so It truly is an honour to be involved in this scheme and to work with the FA alongside other franchisees, and the business, to give even more children the chance to hone their skills – no matter their ability.”
All sessions will take place within Government guidelines.
Fun Football sessions take place at Rickstones Academy on June 5,12, 19 and 26 between 2 and 3pm and Great Dunmow Leisure Centre on June 13, 20 and 27 between 11 and 12pm.
