POLICE have reunited a boy with his bike after it was stolen whilst he was at school.

Witham Special Constable Simon Jesse helped reunite the boy and his bike after it was stolen from outside the school on Conrad Road on Friday March 26.

On Saturday April 10, while on patrol SC Jesse found a bike he believed to be stolen and thanks to a Facebook appeal was able to get in contact with the boy's parents.

SC Jesse said he is proud to be part of such a special community.

He said: "I'd like to thank everyone who shared our Facebook appeal.

"By working with the community, I was able to locate the bike's owner and make sure it was returned to him as soon as possible.

"Witham is a special community and one that I am very proud to be a part of."
