ONE of our top tourist attractions is celebrating after a busy Easter weekend.
Hedingham Castle opened its doors to the public over the long weekend and is now hoping to get back to normal as Covid restrictions are lifted over the coming months.
Spokesman Steffi Dry said: "We are delighted to be able to now welcome visitors from further afield to enjoy our grounds and we were very fortunate to have had a busy Easter weekend, opening the gardens to picnic-goers and walkers to enjoy some bank holiday sunshine.
"Our events calendar for the summer is now live and open for bookings. There is a wide range of events to suit everyone, from the May bank holiday joust and a vintage car show in August, to outdoor cinema, open-air theatre and much more.
"It is just wonderful to have people visit Hedingham once more and bring life back to the estate.
"We are very much looking forward to the year ahead."
