FIGURES have revealed that three in five people have now received their first dose of a Covid vaccine in Braintree.
The latest available data from the NHS, which only takes into consideration jabs given out up until March 28, shows 74,534 people have had a jab.
That equates to 60 per cent of those aged 16 and over.
Of those vaccinated, 57,799 were aged 50 or over – 92 per cent of the age group.
It means 16,735 people aged between 16 and 49 have received a first dose of the vaccine.
It comes as the Government prepares to launch vaccine passports and begin trials to enable the safe return of crowds.
