WITHAM Community Hub has reached a major milestone after completing 30,000 interventions.
The hub was set up in May 2019 as a place for vulnerable residents to feel safe and build a sense of community.
Each call to the hub is labelled an 'intervention'.
Chair of the hub, Tina Townsend said it "wouldn't have been possible" without the help of all the volunteers.
Tina said: "Thank you to our community who have supported us since the start, we couldn't have done this without them.
"It's a chance to recognise then and all the local businesses that have helped us.
"March 13 marks the anniversary of starting up our Pay it forward page, we wanted to reach the target before then and we have smashed it."
The hub aims to promote social inclusion around Witham and help people develop skills who may be socially or economically disadvantaged.
