Thank you to Mr Butland for clarifying the council’s spend on electric charging points.

The previous statement indicated that the £500,000 spend through council tax included installing electric charging points.

Obviously the council’s press release was misleading and any future notices should be checked first for correct information.

I am pleased to know that charging points will be installed in council car parks, so thereby charging to park your vehicle and paying for the charging facility at the same time.

A double whammy.

I am delighted to hear the Government has released money to councils for pothole repairs and I look forward to seeing Coggeshall Road repaired to a drivable standard.
