GYM staff are looking forward to helping the nation 'bounce back' when restrictions are eased.

Anytime Fitness in Witham welcomes the Government's decision to allow indoor sport and health clubs to reopen.

On Monday, Boris Johnson revealed the roadmap out of the third national lockdown.

The PM said that there will be "at least" five week between each of the four steps, the first being the reopening of schools on March 8.

Gyms, indoor leisure centres and indoor swimming pools will reopen from April 12 in step two of the plan “but only for use by individuals or household groups”.

Club manager Jay said the club "can't wait" to welcome members back.

He said: “This latest lockdown has arguably been the most challenging of all and we can’t wait to welcome our members back.

“Alongside the success of the vaccination programme, we look forward to playing a key role in supporting the nation’s health and helping the community to bounce back after such a long period of uncertainty.

"The health and safety of our members, guests and staff is our number one priority and all of our comprehensive safety measures will remain in place.

"Health clubs across the country have done a fantastic job of keeping people safe and we’re looking forward to seeing some familiar and hopefully, new faces too when we reopen."

Until they can reopen, Anytime Fitness is offering a free 30-day trial to enjoy over 70 on-demand classes.
