TALKS are underway about installing a skate park in Coggeshall.
District councillor Nick Unsworth is leading on the plans to place the equipment in the middle of the village recreation ground off East Street.
It would be transported from its current location in Black Notley, where a brand new skate park is due to be installed.
Mr Unsworth said: "It seems a good use of something that would otherwise go to waste.
"There isn't much here for children over the age of 11 to do so it would offer something a bit different.
"It would come with CCTV and everything to make sure it was safe and didn't attract the wrong type of people.
"There's been a really good response on Facebook and hundreds of people say it's a good idea so fingers crossed we can pull it off."
