A FLINTSHIRE man was found dead in his car, an inquest heard.

Guy James Carter, 33, of New Brighton Road in New Brighton was pronounced dead at New Street car park in Mold on June 5.

At a brief hearing in Ruthin opening an inquest into Mr Carter's death, John Gittins, senior coroner for North Wales East and Central, told the court that on the afternoon of June 5 police had been alerted to reports of a deceased man, later identified as Mr Carter, inside a car situated on the car park.

And Mr Carter, a company director, was pronounced dead by paramedics shortly after 1pm.

A post-mortem examination into his death found traces of fatty liver disease, which was recorded as a provisional cause of death.

A full inquest into Mr Carter's death will be held at a date to be fixed.
