If you can spare atleast £200 for a one night stay in the city then maybe it’s time to book into one of these glamorous rooms.

Here are the most expensive hotels in Southampton on Booking.com.

Southampton Harbour Hotel and Spa

Deluxe suite

£986  - with breakfast

Daily Echo:

The iconic Southampton Harbour Hotel and Spa is the only five star hotel in the city.

It is the ideal place for the rich and famous, with incredible waterfront views, spa and a fitness centre.

If you're willing to splurge the cost of a week's holiday in Spain on a one night getaway in Southampton then the Harbour Hotel is the place to go.

The lavish deluxe suite has a large double bed, fit for a king, as well as a separate lounge and dining area.

Daily Echo:

Just under a grand will get you a large east-facing balcony with ample seating if you fancy hosting a couple of friends. The pièce de résistance is the unbeatable 180-degree panoramic view across the marina and Solent.

Leonardo Royal Southampton Grand Harbour

Junior Suite

£241 - with breakfast

Daily Echo:

Located on the waterfront the Leonardo Royal Hotel Southampton Grand Harbour has a stunning glass atrium and impressive spa.

The luxury designer spa offers a range of therapies and treatments as well as a sauna, bath spa and indoor swimming pool to really relax like royalty after a busy day shopping.

Daily Echo:

The hotel is also home to The Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar and Grill, plus the The Hamtun Bar.

The hotel absolutely oozes splendour and wealth from the high quality linen bedding and complimentary role to the gigantic bed - have you ever seen a bed with that many pillows in a row?

The Pig in the Wall

Deluxe King Room

£189

Daily Echo:

Boasting a city centre location The Pig in the Wall, is part of The Pig restaurant group, well known across the south coast for their high-quality fancy affair.

The hotel is tucked away in the city's medieval walls and the rooms come with a larder full of treats and locally-sourced snacks, however even for £189 a night they aren't free.

Daily Echo:

The deluxe king room may set you back £189 but it does feature a novel roll top bath tub, which I personally think may be worth the money.

Characterful and quirky throughout, the bedroom has solid wooden floors and a four poster extra-large double bed.

Ennios

Superior Double Room

£150 - with breakfast

Daily Echo:

Opposite the Red Funnel ferry terminal and just minutes from the city centre and cruise terminals, Ennios is an Italian restaurant with boutique bedrooms.

Described as offering luxurious comfort, Ennios is a converted warehouse facing the old waterfront and Southampton Water.

The cheapest hotel on our list, Ennios packs a real punch and has as much bang for its buck as the rest.

Daily Echo:

The rooms have the Egyptian cotton linen and complimentary designer L'Occitane toiletries and a bathrobe so you can strut your stuff like a star.

All prices correct at the time of publishing for a one night stay on Saturday 14 November 2020.
