A MAN suffered injuries to his face, hand and leg in a reported stabbing.
Police were called to Hadlow Close in Brighton at about 4.30am yesterday.
Officers found a 31-year-old man who had suffered a series of injuries.
Witnesses said forensics teams remained in the area throughout Wednesday as police investigated the violent incident.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “At about 4.30am on Wednesday, police received a report of a man having been stabbed in Hadlow Close.
“Officers attended and discovered a 31-year-old man with hand, facial and leg injuries.
“He was taken to hospital and was later discharged.
“Police conducted house-to-house enquiries and forensics investigations were carried out at the scene.
“Enquiries are ongoing, and anyone with any information about the incident is asked to report it online or call 101, quoting serial 219 of 12/08.”
