DARREN Currie has topped an Echosport poll on who Southend United supporters want to be the next Shrimpers boss.
The poll received close to 2,000 votes.
And it was Barnet boss Currie who finished on top with 34 per cent of the vote while former Shrimpers skipper Kevin Maher, who is now first team coach at Bristol Rovers, finished second with 26 per cent.
Current Blues’ under 23 coach Craig Fagan was third with 22 per cent while ex Shrimpers chief Steve Tilson was fourth with 18 per cent.
