Southampton Magistrates Court
A SOUTHAMPTON boy distributed a number of indecent images of a child over the course of a week.
A 14-year-old boy from Southampton, who cannot be named for legal reasons, distributed five indecent category C photographs of a child between May 1 and 7 last year.
Appearing before a youth court hearing sitting at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to the distribution of indecent images of a child.
The boy was referred to a youth offender panel for the duration of six months.
His parent or guardian was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £40.
