GARDEN centres across Wales have been reopening today for the first time since lockdown restrictions began.

And people have flocked to Caerphilly Garden Centre to get their gardening fix.

The centre has introduced "new measures to ensure the safety" of customers and staff, a statement on their website reads - with trolleys visibly being wiped down.

People were seen queueing outside the shop with only a "limited" number of people allowed to enter at any one time.

"Customer numbers within the store will be limited and to allow for this there will be a spaced queuing area outside, customers will then be advised by a member of staff when they are allowed to enter the store," they said.
