The council is suspending its garden waste collections due to coronavirus.
Braintree Council has made the decision to suspend the collections from today (March 25).
Coronavirus has led to reduced resources within the service and an increase in rubbish and recycling.
The council want to focus on collecting essential grey bins, food waste and recycling.
Residents will be unable to report missed garden waste collections whilst the service is suspended.
The collection of all other recycling and rubbish materials including flats and assisted collections are currently unaffected.
