A 12-year-old arrested in connection with dozens of anti-social incidents in Braintree will face no further action, police have confirmed.
The boy was arrested in January by the Braintree Town Centre Team following a lengthy investigation into 38 incidents in the town.
A 15-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of 20 offences, ranging from October 2019 and January this year.
Essex Police says the 15-year-old remains on bail until March 18.
The arrests followed multiple reports from the public of offences committed in Braintree retail parks, shops and Braintree town centre.
Offences included criminal damage, attempted burglary. common assault and ABH.
