A WIDNES teenager is through to the last seven of a BBC One talent contest.

Harrison Vaughan, who attended Holy Family Catholic Primary School, is in the quarter finals of The Greatest Dancer which continues on Saturday night.

Two more dancers will be eliminated this weekend, so the Upton Grange youngster is calling on residents in Runcorn and Widnes to help him make his dream a reality.

His coach is Matthew Morrison, from Glee, and he is performing before fellow judges Cheryl, Todrick Hall and Oti.

The dance talent show sees dancers of any age and dance style compete to win £50,000 and a chance to perform on Strictly Come Dancing.

Harrison’s aunt Stacia Lucas said: “Harrison would like to say the biggest thank you to everyone who watched and voted for him on Saturday night, he’s having the best time and is loving performing on the live shows. He really doesn’t want it to end.

“The competition is really tough this year and another two acts will be eliminated this Saturday so we need the whole of Widnes, Cheshire and Liverpool to get behind Harrison.”
