A SHOPPING outlet is hosting a variety of activities to keep the youngsters occupied throughout half-term.

Starting today, Braintree Village will be welcoming the Tiptree Tea Room bus which will be based at the outlet throughout the weekend.

The bus offers a host of sweet treats, drinks and upper deck seating area for families to spend time together.

Youngsters will also get the chance to get creative with their pens and crayons by colouring a specially designed wall filled with landmarks in Braintree.

The wall is available until February 23.

The Funky Voices choir will also be visiting the outlet tomorrow.

Shoppers will be invited to sing-along to a mix of tunes from Queen, Michael Jackson, Take That and Bruno Mars. The choir will be performing from 1pm.

And finally the Police cadets will be heading to Braintree Village on Monday where they will be handing out special goodies for free as part of the centre's Random Acts of Kindness initiative.
