PRITI Patel has retained her role as Home Secretary in Boris Johnson's Government.
The Prime Minister is in the midst of a cabinet reshuffle and has already sacked a number of ministers this morning.
Despite the overhaul, Ms Patel, who is MP for Witham, will continue in the position she was originally handed back in July last year.

The biggest surprise coming from Number 10 today is the resignation of Savid Javid as Chancellor.
He reportedly quit the role after he was told to replace all of his advisors.
Rishi Sunak has succeeded Mr Javid as Chancellor.
Other casualties from Mr Johnson's cull include Northern Ireland Secretary Julian Smith, Attorney General Geoffrey Cox, Housing Minister Esther McVey and Business Secretary Andrea Leadsom.
