The lorry has broken down near to Hatfield Peverel
A BROKEN down lorry is causing long delays on the A12 this morning.
The vehicle is stranded on the southbound carriageway between junction 20 at Hatfield Peverel and junction 19 at Boreham.
It is said to be blocking one lane but drivers are being held up across all lanes.
Queues have formed as far back as Witham.
Update 11.30am
The lorry has now been removed from the road and traffic has eased.
