I WILL never understand the logic of this present Government.

They, and most if not all of the Members of Parliament, rant and rave on about cutting the pollution and carbon gases that are slowly but surely destroying our Planet Earth.

Yet they cannot or will not stop the sale of fireworks to individuals and bring in a rule that only organisations are only authorised to purchase these explosives.

After all, if an individual were to try to purchase an explosive or rounds of ammunition they would be denied the sale unless they had the required licence and permit.

On that basis, what with the many severe and sometimes fatal accidents that happen with fireworks, which involves our precious ambulance, fire and police services at the cost of the taxpayer, why hasn’t this or previous Governments done something about it?

There is also the wildlife and domestic pets along with farm animals that have to suffer and become very frightened, let alone those of us who are unwell and need essential rest.

Fireworks are explosives and must be treated with respect and people must show respect for others and be more considerate.
