The crash occured just after junction 23 at Kelvedon
A crash is causing problems on the A12 this morning.
A single care is understood to have been involved in the collision and is now blocking the outside lane on the northbound carriageway between junction 23 and 24 at Kelvedon.
Traffic is beginning to build in the area.
It is unclear if anyone has been injured.
Update 9.18am
The incident has now cleared and traffic is easing.
