A Witham based recruitment agency put their best foot forward to raised over £1,200 for charity.
Prime Appointments hosted a memory walk last weekend in aid of Alzheimer’s Society.
Starting at midday, the group, of over 40 employees, clients, friends and family, took off from Prime Appointments headquarters in Witham.
Prime Appointments recently announced it has become a lifetime partner with the Alzheimer’s Society.
A spokesperson for the company said: “We were overjoyed to walk with our co-founder Margaret Locke’s husband David.
“Having been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at just 51, his case has inspired us to do everything we can to help Alzheimer’s Society work towards a future without it.
After the 4km walk, the team headed back to the office to celebrate with cake from Tiptree Patisserie.
“We are completely blown over to announce that with the support and help of our team, clients, family and friends and the local business community, we have raised over £21,000 for Alzheimer’s Society in just a year.”
The walk marked the start of an ambitious fundraising target of £100,000 by 2029.
