Big-hearted bosses at a Braintree taxi firm have stumped up £1,000 to keep the air ambulance flying.
Yelo Taxi handed over a giant cheque to the charity to make National Air Ambulance Week, which started on Monday.
Yelo Taxi operations manager for Yelo Taxi, Jacob Smith said: “This was my first interaction with Essex Air Ambulance, but I know we have donated to them multiple times before.
“The owners of the business are big supporters of what they do, and they recognise how important their work is to the community.
“We will definitely continue to support them in the future.
Essex and Herts Air Ambulance relies on donations and support from the local community and businesses to continue flying.
