LIFE-SAVING equipment has been set up in three key locations in Braintree.

The new defibrillators have been set up in the town thanks to the CSS Charitable Trust and the Braintree Fund.

All three are stored in a locked unit which can be opened by using a code given out by the ambulance service in emergency situations.

The defibrillators are based at 14 Manor Street, 38 Rayne Road and 28-32 East Street.

All three are semi-automatic meaning no training is needed as the device talks you through the procedures step by step.
