It seems as though whenever one reads the Times someone is objecting to some housing development or other.
There seems to be plenty of opinion as to where homes shouldn’t be built, far less as to where they should be built.
The country is in the midst of a housing crisis and local authorities are duty-bound to come up with schemes to alleviate the lack of homes, whether they be so-called “garden villages” or something else.
One wonders how much longer those who are already comfortably housed will object to those who are not becoming so.
